You own everything you upload.
Uploading your work to ArtisTrust does not transfer, license, or otherwise affect your ownership of that work. You retain full copyright and all intellectual property rights in every image, recording, and piece of metadata you upload.
ArtisTrust is granted a limited, non-exclusive license solely to store, display, and process your content for the purpose of providing the ArtisTrust service to you. This license ends when you delete your content or close your account.
We will never sell, license, or share your work with third parties without your explicit written consent.
Where your data lives.
Your images, metadata, and voice memos are stored on encrypted servers hosted by Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the United States. All data is encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption and in transit using TLS 1.2 or higher.
We do not use your uploaded images to train AI models. Your work is used only to provide the analysis and catalog features within your own account.
You can export or delete your entire archive at any time. On account deletion, your data is permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.
The copyright feature.
ArtisTrust's copyright export feature provides documentation tools to assist you in preparing materials for submission to the US Copyright Office. This feature is designed to simplify the administrative process of copyright registration.
ArtisTrust does not provide legal advice. The copyright export package is a documentation aid only. For complex copyright situations, disputed ownership, or international rights, we recommend consulting a qualified intellectual property attorney.
Registering a copyright with the US Copyright Office provides important legal protections. ArtisTrust encourages all artists to register their work but accepts no liability for the outcome of any copyright registration process.
DMCA compliance.
ArtisTrust respects intellectual property rights and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe any content on our platform infringes your copyright, please contact hello@artistrust.io with the subject line 'DMCA Notice' and we will respond promptly.
To submit a valid DMCA notice please include:
A description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed
The URL where the infringing content appears on our platform
Your contact information
A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner
